I am going to get into so much trouble for this post.

Actually, no, I’m not, because nobody reads my drivel. But I have to say, shout from the rooftops, scream into the void, that our current president, the orange shitgibbon, who self-styles himself as king, must die. And soon.

Don’t get me wrong; I don’t actually want him to die. I’d rather he be tossed into a gulag in Siberia to rot and live out the rest of his miserable life penniless and powerless. I mean, I’m a Buddhist, and to wish death upon someone is anathema. But, regardless, tossing him in prison doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, so yeah, he must, MUST die. And soon. He has made our once-great country a laughing-stock, has caused undue heartbreak, and nearly pulled us into fascism.

As far as I can tell, he’s only living on Big Macs and spite. He’s clearly not well, and his mental state, at the very least, is three tacos shy of a combination plate. He’s a vile (alleged) human, a pedophile, a rapist; hell, there’s even evidence he’s committed manslaughter. He’s only looking out for himself and pisses on anyone who doesn’t agree with him. Or anyone who does. The Republican Congress is adept at looking the other way and enabling him, because they see him as a way to get what they want, which is apparently to drag the U.S. back to the bad old ‘50s. They’re a bunch of old, white men who play at being pious, publicly kowtowing to him while privately laughing their fat asses off at him. In other words, useless.

Like the three people who read will this, I watched the events unfold in Minneapolis, feeling both livid and powerless, terrified for the people there and here, because I know that it’s only a matter of time before ICE Barbie turns her dead eyes to us. I’m in a sanctuary city, a very liberal city, and that’s two things that this administration hates. Indivisible is very strong here. It’s only a matter of time.

Right now, we have two things to hope for in the matter; the first is the midterms. If we can flip the House and the Senate to firmly Democrat, then we can bring articles of impeachment (and treason, if I’d have my way) against him. But the midterms are months away, and the damage he could do in the interim is terrifying. The other hope is that he kicks the bucket, sooner rather than later, which will make everything easier. Congress will be frozen. Vance can be impeached as well as ICE Barbie, Kegsheth, RFK, the whole gang. It would be glorious, but right now, it’s a pipe dream. We need to make that dream a reality.

Despite the obviousness of all of this, I still have heard people say they either won’t vote or won’t vote for a democrat, because whoever is running isn’t paying attention to their specific needs. I call bullshit on that. We HAVE to vote, and vote blue. It’s quite literally our only way out of this mess.

That, and if he croaks.

  1. Sooner rather than later. And no, I’m not going to help enable it, but I’m asking the universe at large to mete out justice where it is due, as well as sending peace to those who need it.
